My coaching journey began in 2011 when I graduated from University, and swiftly pivoted from my Fashion degree to fitness. I became a personal trainer and became obsessed with all things physical, coaching clients and learning as much as I possibly could while embarking on my own training journey. I was fascinated by the human body, and loved that I had found a way to exercise that was so accessible as an adult. I learnt to lift weights, I dabbled in Crossfit, and from there realised I could learn exciting gymnastics skills like handstands, pull ups and pistol squats.
There weren’t many people training bodyweight skills and calisthenics at this time, and in my search for a community of like minded people I stumbled across the world of online training and online fitness programs. This was how I found GMB Fitness who I worked for for 8 years, running their online community and supporting their clients through their programs. I also became a qualified GMB Trainer.
The more I trained and developed new physical skills, the more I wanted to challenge myself, and so I embarked on my journey into circus in 2019. I continued developing my handstands, and began exploring aerial and fire spinning. Circus has become my main focus in coaching, training, and I also spent 2022-2024 performing.
My ultimate personal goal is to be as physically capable for the rest of my life, and so this is a real priority in my own training. I’ve made the mistake of overtraining multiple times, dealt with difficult injuries, and learned the hard way that more is sometimes too much.
I’m now on a mission to help as many aerialists as possible become strong AF, but in a sustainable way that promotes longevity in their practice. It is possible to become stronger and not get injured as adults. I’m focusing my coaching on this goal, sharing my knowledge through group classes, my community, programs and one to one coaching. Everything I do is now fully online.
I want to share my knowledge and passion for training strength and conditioning, and help people develop their own physical autonomy!
