Welcome to Explore Your Core! This program is designed to give you fun and varied exercises and movements to build core strength for your aerial. We’ll be learning core fundamentals, gymnastics core drills, core and compression drills and full body movements that challenge your core.
You have 5 core strength follow along routines. These routines are follow along, and super simple to go through. You also have written programming and guidance on how to integrate this into your existing training. Plus a 60 minute core strength for aerial workshop that dives deeper into the connection between your core and your aerial! Most importantly: guidance on how to integrate this into your existing practice!
Here are the different topics that the program will cover:
Core Strength Fundamentals
We’ll look at the very fundamentals of core strength and how this relates to being in the air. You’ll be guided through how to build this fundamental strength with a range of drills and different progressions to suit your level!
Core Like A Gymnast
Taking inspiration from Crossfit Gymnastics conditioning, we’ll look at how to train your core like a gymnast! This will include a range of drills that are simple but effective in giving you a short solid core workout.
Core And Compression
Core strength and compression strength go hand in hand! There is a lot of value in training drills that require both strength elements to work together, and that’s the focus of this session.
Core And Full Body Movements
We’ll look at how to incorporate core strength training into full body movements. Of course it’s super important to be able to use our core with other parts of our body, so the movements in this routine will give you a simple but effective approach to this.

A small amount of space to train in
A yoga mat would be useful for a bit of extra comfort
A yoga block
A kettlebell or light weight
